Staying in during the past week has not been easy for families. It requires a lot of disciple and hard work to keep yourself busy and positive. It’s not easy to make this the new normal. However, I know my Excel Soccer Skills players. They are smart, clever and resilient. My soccer players solve problems and we adjust. I’m proud of each and every one of you for keeping a positive attitude during this time. Most importantly, we will never walk away from our passion and our freedom. I’m proud to be an American and coach soccer to all of you.
During the past week, I’ve received numbers of pictures and videos of soccer players practicing. I’ve also received very uplifting messages from my customers who know that is hard for me to be closed during this time. Thank you for sending. Your support is unreal and unbelievable!! What makes Excel? Each of you! This is not my place but yours.
To share my appreciation for all of you, I’m going to do a soccer lesson through Facebook Live on Monday at 5:30 pm. I’ll coach a half hour lesson with my daughter demoing the drills. Find a place that is safe to practice and tune in at that time. Let’s try it out. Let me know afterwards whether it was helpful.
Meanwhile, keep sending the videos and photos. Keep practicing soccer during this time – muscle memory is important! And keep in touch. I miss each and every one of you.
